Overhead shading reduces excessive heat gain and water loss, while a conductive layer reflects heat to keep temperatures stable, meaning healthier plants, less irrigation, and lower ventilation and heating costs. This approach supports sustainable farming by reducing reliance on fossil fuels and optimising land use which is especially valuable in regions where space is limited.
